8. Are you happy to service clients outside Scotland/North of England?

Distance is not an issue for us in servicing clients. Where face to face meetings are necessary to advise clients, we are happy to travel to wherever clients are based, even to the South of England or in deepest Wales.

Clearly, a common sense approach is required when considering new business opportunities, i.e. when the relationship is not yet at a fee paying stage. If a potential client wanted us to travel 400 miles to put faces to names with a view to doing a project, and the journey would be a good investment of time, then absolutely we would be more than happy to do so. However, if the potential client was a very small organisation with limited opportunities to do business together then we would probably suggest a telephone conference call instead or come to some mutually acceptable arrangement to cover the costs of a face to face meeting if preferred.
